As Joe-Mega said, it's really cool seeing comedic pieces also be artistically amazing. The way you rendered the piece gives off the appropriate atmosphere.
While I'm not too into horror/monster stuff, I'm a big sucker for neon/blacklight poster-looking art. It also reminds me of those old 80s/90s toys with the vibrant colors that weren't intentional.
Very cool.
Jack Kirby was definitely the first thing I thought of. Though maybe it's because of those colored Argo illustrations from Heavy Metal.
I think the glove can change sizes depending on the user (though the default size is, like, big). Then again, I have little to no clue about Marvel lore.
I just like Zim's expression on here, maybe before realizing the glove is too small for him and he goes "...Crap".
I was curious about the suits looking "plain" but then you mentioned Hajime Sorayama. It makes sense now. It definitely captures that metallic sheen look.
As Cherenbog said: it's nice seeing some fanart of oldschool anime.
Nice to see some Lupin love!
I like how you colored him using different (cross)hatching techniques. Keeps the piece visually-appealing.
thank you! i saw the trailer for the new CGI movie and wanted to get into the series. so i watched one of the movies and really loved it!
Is this digital? I kinda like how the texture effect for the overall peice gives it a slightly analog feel.
I think you did a good job on depicting the sneaking/ninja feel for Link.
it is ;) thanks!
This looks pretty cool. I like the...I'm not sure what to call it but it has that "US/superhero" inking to it with the solid black shadows and the hatching.
An artist who enjoys nerdy things and expressing them. Looking forward to working on professional projects, personal or otherwise.
